“As a child, we called a small eastern coastal village home. I had a lot of freedom while my family took holidays and weekends either on islands close to home or wandering the inland stations, ranges and rivers. This land inspires me with its vast and vibrant beauty, which I explore and reflect within my work. My paintings are a visual expression of my experiences and observations while travelling and camping from inland to islands with my family. I also enjoy painting a variety of more traditional landscapes, experimenting with colour and light.”
